View Full Version : Compiler License server on Solaris?

My Department normally serves it's FlexLM licenses from a High Availability Solaris machine.

Is seems that the vendor specific 'clearsp' binary plugin for flexlm is only available for the platforms that ClearSpeed supports as platforms for putting their Accelerator boards into. (I have looked at all the downloads on the support website)

For us, we just want to serve the license file, not compile under Solaris nor to put any ClearSpeed boards in this machine.

Is there a solution ?

Solomon.

It should be possible to provide you with a node locked license for the machine the SDK is running on). This does not need the license server running at all. This is not the way we normally work and it is relatively untested but should work...

Send a request through the support site (or email customer-support) and I can generate a suitable license for you (we will need the hostid and hostname of the machine the SDK will run on).
